Please complete this application for the Brithinee Continuing Student Scholarship. The Brithinee Scholarship was established in 1988 with the generosity of Donald Brithinee (’68, ’70 M.A., ’71 Ph.D.) and Wallace Brithinee (’68, ’70 M.A., ’71 Ph.D.). Over the past twenty years, together they have funded over $110,000 for continuing Alumni Freshman Scholars.
Please attach a current resume (no more than one single-sided page) that outlines extracurricular activities and leadership roles. Applications must be received by the UCR Alumni Association no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012. Please deliver FOUR copies of your application (may be double sided). Late applications will not be considered! Four $4,000 scholarships will be awarded.
Criteria for Selection
- Must be a UCRAA Freshman Scholar.
- Financial need.
- Min. GPA: 3.5.
- Attending UCR for all three quarters in 2012-13.
