UCR maintains a campus database of your name, address, phone number, email, college and year of graduation to allow us to stay in touch with you (send you the UCR magazine), and to let your old classmates find you (if you so permit). This information may be used by University of California, Riverside for the development of invitation lists to university-oriented programs and events, as well as for university-affiliated marketing programs and benefit offerings. If you do not wish to have this information assigned to these purposes, please notify the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations at (800) 426-ALUM or at
ucralum@ucr.edu.
SB569 - California State Senate Bill 569 became law on January 1, 2006. It allows public universities like UCR to continue to provide individual alumni cost-effective group rates and discounts for home, travel and financial programs through affinity partnerships. Such programs provide significant savings to California public university students and alumni. Resources from these partnerships enable the UCR Alumni Association to administer a comprehensive scholarship program for the benefit of our students. Alumni programs and services are jeopardized as the state’s general fund is increasingly challenged to meet the needs of higher education, so such affinity partnerships are an important source of university funding.
Please note that the University of California Riverside and the UCR Alumni Association never sell or otherwise disclose personal information such as your social security number, academic records, etc. to any outside organizations, companies or individuals.
