	- Essay Guidelines - Your essay should emphasize: The example set as a parent in providing opportunities for children serving as a role model or making personal sacrifices to benefit children. Include the qualities or characteristics that make your parent(s) and/or guardian(s) special. The Selection Committee will also take into consideration the nominees': contribution to civic organizations and the welfare of the community and others contribution to a chosen field or profession Your essay should be 500 words or less.
