UC Day in Sacramento

2009 - Date to be determined
Sacramento, CA

UC alumni delegates meet in small groups with elected officials to discuss issues affecting higher education and UC in particular at UC Day, the annual conference sponsored by the Alumni Associations of the University of California.

It is the only time of the year when all ten UC campuses come together to meet with elected officials on issues facing UC. Since no other group within the University community - faculty, administrators or students - is as effective as alumni and parents in reaching public officials and promoting the needs of UC, we hope you'll be able to join us.

By participating in this event, you will make a difference.

Join the UCR Delegation to Sacramento ~ Delegates:

  • Are briefed on key issues facing UCR and UC
  • Meet in small groups with state legislators in their offices
  • Attend UC Day luncheon with special guest speakers
  • Attend UCR dinner with Inland Empire legislators, state officials and UC administrators
