    The Alumni & Visitors Center

    About the building:
The UCR Alumni Association has realized a long-held objective: completion of an Alumni & Visitors Center for the University of California, Riverside. The Alumni & Visitors Center serves as the "front door" to the campus - a distinctive arrival point that showcases alumni achievements while welcoming friends and visitors. The 13,865-square-foot, split-level building designed by local architects HMC, houses a large lobby, meeting rooms, a library of works by UCR authors, a formal board room and a dining facility that can also double as a banquet space for 200.

    About the location:
The Alumni & Visitors Center is located at 3701 Canyon Crest Drive, directly across the street from UCR's softball field.

    Making Your Contribution:

The dream of an Alumni & Visitors Center at UCR became a reality in 1998 when lead gifts were designated to the project.  Since that time, many distinguished UCR alumni have played key roles in the success of the building campaign, including former UC Regent S. Sue Johnson, former UCLA Chancellor Charles E. Young and Dr. Ron and Margaret Redmond.  Hundreds of other UCR friends and graduates across the United States have also provided critical support to this effort.
