Producing positive effects for UCR and higher education is an essential activity carried out annually by dedicated UCR alumni and parent volunteers. The UCR Alumni Advocacy Program works to strengthen the University's efforts to shape public policy that supports the mission of the University. The Advocacy program trains and maintains a network of advocates who are willing to assist in governmental relations efforts for the campus and the University.
