| “‘Living the promise’ means to me bringing enjoyment, happiness, and laughter into people's lives. As a full-time professional magician and comedian I love to make people feel good inside. I love hearing laughter and applause from telling jokes and performing magic tricks and seeing the smiles on people's faces. It absolutely warms my heart knowing I can make people feel the same joy I'm feeling when I'm performing on stage, especially in today's tough times. If I can make a difference in these people's lives by making them forget about their problems and escape for just a moment, then I have succeeded.
“UCR has helped me ‘live that promise’ by turning my childhood hobbies of entertaining into a full-time small business. Although my profession as a magician and comedian is quite unconventional compared to a corporate career, essentially what I'm doing is running a small business. I've studied this market, analyzed the entertainment industry, and created marketing strategies. I've networked, built good rapports, and developed business relationships with important contacts. I've utilized various advertising methods and public relations techniques. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration in June of 2006 the experience, knowledge, and confidence I've received from UCR has given me much insight, inspiration, and perseverance to pursue my passions.”
